The rise and rise of online retailers has been and will continue to be phenomenal. With various selling platforms available at an affordable rate it’s easy to get your small online business up and running in no time. ipostparcels.com is an example of the new era online businesses, all that we do is online and we’ve noticed that a lot of customers are also online retailers.
Social Media for your Business
Many big name retailers have tried selling directly in the social space and have had their fingers burnt. Don’t invest in technology to actually transact on your social space when your e-commerce platform is only a click away.
Use social media to interact with customers and build a community. It will help you develop your brand’s tone of voice and make you more familiar to potential customers. A few ways to develop social media to drive sales is by offering exclusive content. Make your content share-worthy this can be done via imagery or simple wording and incentives for things such as offers, promotions and new campaigns. The more share worthy your content is the more potential customers it will reach.
Key Online Business Drivers
As well as engaging into social media its important you don’t forget the fundamentals of ensuring online business growth such as supply & demand, website functionality, customer services and delivery service.
Whether you offer customers next day delivery or 2-3 day delivery it’s integral to offer them a cheap & reliable service.
Hi All! Its Parcel Pete here, the UK this morning has woken up to a thick blanket of snow. Some roads are impassable, trains have been cancelled and some airports closed as what is set to be the heaviest snowfall of winter.
Wales, the West Country, eastern England, the North East of England and Scotland were the worst-hit areas this morning - with the band of severe weather set to spread across the country.
Drivers in Wales were facing major problems, with the M4 closed between Bridgend at junction 36 and Pyle at junction 37.
Gritters have been out in force, and the Highways Agency has issued an amber alert, advising motorists to take extra care and check weather forecasts before they travel.
Due to these severe weather conditions and road closures some parcel deliveries and collections may be delayed.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather conditions and will be updating you all via our social media pages.

With so many companies offering parcel delivery services it can be hard to fish out who’s a reseller and who’s the actual company delivering your parcel. Here at ipostparcels.com we want to give you more info about us so you know exactly who you’re dealing with.
No Middle man
We pride ourselves on the fact that we handle all elements of parcel delivery and collections. There is no third party involvement and you won’t find us on any of the reseller websites hence why we are able to keep our prices low as there is no middle man taking a cut.
ipostparcels.com’s Background
ipostparcels.com is part of the UK Mail Group, the largest independent parcels, mail and logistics services company in the UK. UK Mail has over 40 years of experience in the industry, so you can be sure your parcel is in safe hands. We have 55 depots across the UK all strategically located making it easier for you to drop your parcel off to us. You can even save yourself some money by dropping your parcel off to your local depot. We use our own reliable national network of drivers and fleet and don’t pass your job on to anyone else.
Just the two of us
So, it’s just us and you. We cover every single aspect of your parcel collection and delivery, right from your order on the website straight through to customer services, sortation and final delivery. With our strong background, no third party and reliable national network we’re able to offer a quality convenient parcel delivery service.
Sending parcels to customers or returning unwanted items which you have bought online can be somewhat inconvenient these days. Indeed, we all live increasingly busy lives and finding the time to go and queue up at the Post Office is not always possible in today’s fast-moving world.
Thankfully, we here at ipostparcels can make the process of sending a parcel or returning unwanted goods a far more simple and stress-free experience.
Parcel delivery at its best
Our whole remit is to provide a more convenient and user-friendly means for you to organise your next day deliveries and collections. In fact, all you need to do to take advantage of our services is log onto our website; name your parcel collection address (i.e. home, office, work, neighbour’s house etc); book a time slot that suits you best, and then we will come and pick up your parcel for next day delivery. This means that you do not have to hang around all day or trek to your local post office. Or, if you prefer, you can always make use of our network of 5 depots placed around the UK for a drop off or pick up service, as this can save you even more money on your delivery charges.
Our innovative parcel delivery service really can pay dividends as it ensures you can take care of all your parcel delivery needs without having to experience any of the inconvenience that so often goes with it.
There are times when we need an important parcel delivered, but we cannot rely on traditional mail services. Whereas once it could have taken anything up to two weeks to have a larger than average parcel delivered, there are now companies offering parcel delivery in the UK that can have your package at its destination the very next day – companies like ipostparcels.com. Whether you have forgotten a friend or relative’s birthday and need to send a gift fast, or have an anxious buyer waiting for their eBay purchase, our parcel delivery service can help by offering you Parcel Delivery without getting out of your pyjamas!
ipostparcels offers cheap parcel delivery in super-fast time, and the internet has put this extremely useful service right at our fingertips. Simply enter your details online, and our drivers will come to your home or office to collect your parcel for next day delivery. These services are also extremely affordable, from only £4.99 +VAT.
Unlike the postal service, which delivers all parcels in much the same way, ipostparcels understand that every package is different. We are able to cater the delivery to meet your exact needs, ensure that fragile items are handled correctly and even advise you on how you can box, wrap and package your parcels most effectively to prevent breakages. If you’re looking for reliable, fast and cheap parcel delivery services, ipostparcels.com is for you!
The idea behind ipostparcels is pretty simple. Sometimes one of the most influential reasons behind not posting mum’s birthday present or not getting your latest eBay sells out quickly is nothing more than simple circumstance. It’s too cold outside to walk to the Post Office, it’s inconvenient to cart parcels on the commute in time for a lunchtime dash to the courier, or maybe it’s just your day off and there’s a crime thriller marathon on telly!
Cheap Parcel Delivery
ipostparcels.com offers cheap parcel delivery right from your door. No more queuing at the Post Office, no complicated forms to fill in, and now you don’t even have to have a printer! Just select our “Bring me Labels” service and our driver will bring your labels with him.
Our clients spoke, we listened and the message was clear. You want to be able to fill out details simply (i.e. online while you enjoy a cup of tea), know you’ve accessed all the same great services as the rest of our network (e.g. guaranteed next day delivery) and hand over parcels on your front doorstep (in your favourite pyjamas!) to one of our parcel collection pros (they’re lovely folks!)
So go on, just book your parcel delivery online and wait for our super collection staff to pick it up!
Whether you are looking to send the odd parcel for or need to make frequent deliveries as part of your business, using our online parcel collection and delivery service here at ipostparcels.com makes perfect sense.
Our services are aimed at anyone who is looking for a cost-effective, straightforward way to send a parcel without leaving their home or office. All you need to do to take advantage of our invaluable service is go online, order a pick-up time to suit you, and then choose from a range of delivery options for a tracked parcel delivery service anywhere in the UK. Unlike most other couriers and mail providers, we offer you four different time slots for collection: a three-hour window, morning, afternoon or all day. Furthermore, you can also request a parcel be left in a 'safe place' if you will be away from home or work. To make things even easier we offer a service to bring your printed parcel labels to you!
Our ipostparcels parcel delivery service prices are either comparable with Royal Mail parcel drop-off prices or cheaper with the added benefit of next day delivery as standard. Payment can be made by credit or debit card using a secure service or by Paypal. Prices start from as little as £3.99 +VAT for collected next day delivery tracked and signed-for parcels. However, if you are near to one of our 55 UK depots you can save even more money by dropping off your parcels in person.
So forget about carting parcels to the Post Office on your lunch break or waiting around all day for your parcel to be collected – just come to us and send your parcels the easy way!
Hi everyone! I’ve had a really jam packed fun weekend recently. After I finished my Saturday morning deliveries I went along to Sandy Lane Primary School in Bracknell for their Summer Olympic Fete to help them raise money for their school.
It was a great day, a fantastic turnout and lots of fun activities and games such as; apple bobbing, duck hooking, a bouncy castle, a raffle and sum yummy cupcakes on sale. Take a look at what I got up to on our Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/ipostparcels
We managed to raise a total of £3300 on the day and our parent company UK Mail also donated £1000 towards the cause.
Now that I’ve recovered from all the fun, I’m back on the road collecting and delivering all your parcels. Don’t forget we can also deliver your parcels on a Saturday morning; simply choose the option when booking your parcel.
Hi everyone! Over recent times I’ve been receiving your feedback which is very important to us all here at ipostparcels.com. I’ve taken your comments on board and have been working very hard over the weeks on a new feature to our service called ‘Bring me Labels’.
Labels Delivered to You
The new Bring me Labels feature does exactly what it says on the tin, we bring you the labels! So you no longer need to worry if you don’t have a printer or have run out of ink or paper as we will print your labels and bring them to you when we collect your parcel. Or if you want to make it hassle free for someone to send you a parcel from eBay for example then this is great (all they have to do is wrap the item appropriately). The cost of this service is just 49p per parcel!
However there are a few important things to note, if you are booking more than one parcel, then you will need to have the labels for every parcel in that booking bought to you by the driver. Also, we’re unable to give you the option to leave your parcels in a safe place for collection as the driver won’t know which parcel to attach which label too etc.
So there we have it, hassle free next day parcel collection and delivery.
Hi Everyone,
Hope you’re having a good week so far. As usual I’ve been up and down the country from one postcode to another with parcel deliveries. However on Sunday 10th June I decided to get my running shoes on and raise money for charity by taking part in The Great Midlands Fun Run.
The Great Midlands Fun Run is an 8.5 mile course but it’s not a race and anyone and everyone can take part. I was raising money for The Birmingham Children’s Hospital and to raise that little bit extra me and my friends carried a bath tub the whole way so supporters could throw in some extra money whilst on route.
It was a great day with a fantastic turnout, I managed to finish the run (bath in tow) in 2 hours and 11 minutes, just take a look at some of the pictures:

No rest for the wicked though, I’m back out on the road making my next day deliveries and collecting parcels from your homes and places of work. Don’t forget you can also save £1.00 by dropping your parcels at one of our local depots.
